Whispers in the Wind is the new single taken from the forthcoming Candy Apple Blue album, Second Sight. The song features a smooth, cool, and haunting vocal performance delivered by Norway's Espen Kraft. Its musical roots are inspired by mid-1980's new wave synth-pop bands. Lyrically the composition addresses drug addiction, regret, rumors, and self-realization. Its melancholy message is a tragic cautionary tale delivered with a retro dance beat.
